Third round was 5AM. I hadn’t been back asleep long. Looked outside, said: it’s not that bad, and crawled back into bed. By 7AM it was needing it. An hour later the trees are knocked clear had high as I can reach with my frame plus 15’ of poll or so, and the driveway is clear.

Round two of knocking the branches concluded at 2Am. I woke up before my 2am alarm. Even harder to reach the ash tree. That thing is taller than the house now. By a fair amount. Got what I could.

10pm round one of clearing the snow off of my leafed out crabapple tree. Can’t reach the top anymore. It’s gotten big in 28 years. The ash is still leafing out, maybe the leaves are warmer since they are still growing? It’s collected no snow so far. Temps are dropping and snow should pick up.

Today was a hike up a closed Jeep trail, and then some Jeeping around other open trails in the area to make sure my my friend Jeep is ready for its Moab run next week after having some maintenance work done. All is well, woot! The hike was 2.8 miles up ~800 feet and back down.
