Woke up with sinus issues that have to be related to my shoes on Friday. As annoying as this is, still way better than having Covid again so I’ll take it.

Oh the red ones turned out well. Once I seal them, I’ll be halfway through my color rainbow journey (and to the point where I need to make a trip to Jefferson Variety for more glitter!).

Feeling better today, still a little sore. Still planning to hide in the house except maybe for a walk later since it’s gorgeous out. Very glad I did this on a long weekend.

Vaccine update: Felt fine last night, tired about 5 hours later but also could have been week & late football game. Slept solidly, woke up on my own 9 hours later. Arms are SORE. Covid arm more than flu arm. Been up 2 hours, suddenly exhausted again. Only planning to leave the house to vote.

Reminder: it’s sun outage week. The sun will be directly behind geostationary satellites, which will cause some interference on Saturday. This happens twice a year, and for our purposes, it usually happens during or around Red River.

Happy to report I was able to book a Covid shot at CVS! So now I can get that and flu shot in one stop versus going to Ochsner for one and then CVS for the other. Glad we are finally back to something being functional.

12 hour day ahead today, 10 hour day tomorrow. The next two will be back to 8 hour days, and at least I only worked a half day yesterday … but I’m already ready for the three day weekend ahead 🙃 Send good thoughts. 🙏

Made it thru long work weekend. Massage yesterday as I was so knotted up from it all I couldn’t wait 2 more weeks. Even with suggested salt bath last night am sore today. Half day working from home before another packed week of events. This is why y’all haven’t seen me. Oct is a rollercoaster. 😞
