While the cinematography is neat, the first 15 hours of Cyberpunk 2077 just felt like I accidentally skipped 40+ hours of story missions that were supposed to get me attached to that one guy who died and the protagonist who will/could. I can laugh about a lot of immoderately punishing nonsense, but If getting to each nodule in the Bed of Chaos fight took four times longer than the boss run itself, it would still feel like considerably less of a time waste than doing the arena before Groal once, not including the run or boss fight…

Same location, less zoom, 18 days. (Nobody with my keys did basic maintenance on the few plants I have while I was in the hospital. They only did the things I asked them not to do, like cleaning or moving random things into random drawers so I won't find them anymore… 🙄)

Silksong might be difficult to some, but you know what's even more difficult? Having to play Silksong with your hospital roommate one bed over, a person who is utterly oblivious to the concept of not opening your mouth and making extra loud "aahhh" or "mhhw'oah" noises after every tiny sip of water.

I just learned about the right stick click taunt in Silksong by accident. This is extremely useful in at least one spot early on, and the game oddly never seems to tell you about it. It's in the keyboard binds (called "Challenge"), but not an action you are allowed to rebind on controller. 🤨

Someone got me my Steam Deck, and I'm a little worried about tethering it to my phone to download Silksong. To me, personally, with my 90s brain, a male-to-male cable that carries power between two devices that want to draw power through the female connector sounds like something an idiot would do.

I posted on Twitter how much I liked the animations of Hornet from Silksong that reminded me of Alucard, and a completely unnecessary fight started there over nothing, I wanted to understand where people get so much hate from. x__x (I hope here is better)

Hospitals suck. Also I didn't expect to stay, so I didn't bring my Steam Deck, meaning I couldn't continue the Silksong purchase failures in-between trips to the CT, Doppler sonography, MRT, this bodyless hospital coffee I'm having right now, or the incoming electrode nerve measuring thingamajig. 😿

Those random shenanigans made me buy a "modern" camera. Used Olympus E-M10 III. Managed to take a single snapshot before the uncharged battery gave up from testing, using a 40 year old Beroflex 35/2.8 lens. jpeg straight from cam / RAW with color cal and stuff (I have no clue what I'm doing btw.🐶)
