I regret to inform everyone that my pedantic brain couldn’t let me live until I knew whether or not dodger blue and blue jays blue are the same blue. They are ONE PANTONE NUMBER APART.

So, after months of pain, swelling and struggling to get around, I finally got my doctor to order tests. Xray results are in and I have fluid in my knee. Just waiting for my MRI appointment. Progress can be so frustrating.

I think I've unlocked a new symptom in my perimenopause journey - itchy skin. Liked, wasn't it enough to have itchy ears now the rest of my body has to join in?!

It's cooler on my balcony than in my condo so am enjoying breakfast outside today. Sitting on the balcony chair that the neighbourhood squirrel has been nibbling away at all winter. Hopefully I don't fall thru the seat. Coffee is too expensive to spill!

So, after weeks of nursing my knee I went back to a full(ish) workout including a 40lbs goblet squat. I only managed 2 sets but I woke up to a swollen painful knee again. Happy weekend 😭 #fibromyalgia

Went my employer's 25th anniversary party last night - music, crowds, lights, bathroom at the top of a staircase. I was so overstimulated and in pain about ten minutes of getting there. I left immediately after the speeches... 4 HOURS aftet arrival! Not a space for #fibromyalgia #spoonie

The weather has been hard on my fibro this week but it wasn't going to stop me going to the theatre! Took pain pills before and ice and hot packs when after. Loved Inside American Pie and picked up a slice of lemon meringue. I may be celebrating a day late but I'm having a great Pi Day!
