The struggle to sit in your reserved seat, when an entitled stranger has already taken it, has become a meme. I thought most of them could be filed under “things that didn’t happen.” But it just did - to me. The guy was actually outraged that I asked to sit in my own seat!

Been to see The Prodge at Leeds with my smallest baby. The last time I saw them was Doncaster Dome in 96. I’d been up for 72 hours and was off me bean - so it was a surreal experience. They can still put on a show 🤘

My old Ma has finally succumbed to the jazzy new hearing aids I’ve been mithering about for a year or so. This takes me back. School trip to France in the 80’s - we visited the Bayeux Tapestry and were required to write a report to demonstrate that we’d actually paid attention. Kev Smith submitted the following: “Today we went to see the Bayeux Tapestry. It was a truly amazing piece of cloth.” 🤌

Partway around the NC500; today we: drove a lot; got menaced by a falcon; walked down 300 steps to a hidden cove while an idiot tightrope walked above us; and explored a 5000 year old cairn. Absolutely marvellous
