I wanted to write about this for a long time, but @adactio.com did it first and definitely better. Web frameworks should be invisible to the user, they serve us developers. Users don't care, and shouldn't pay the price neither.

As an engineer, it's fascinating to see the clever solutions the React team releases. As a web developer, it's funny how most of those solutions are to solve problems React itself created.

I cancelled my @repebble.com pre-order, I love all @ericmigi.com is doing, but more than three months delay in with so little amount of updates or news about the 2 Duo, felt bit of a diservice to early supporters in my opinion. Hope to be excited enough to try one in the future though.

This sounds cool, but i checked The Verge's actual coverage, and there's no mention of the only viable alternative: web apps. No mention that Apple is consistently working overime to keep them hobbled and hard to find.

When the dust settles, we will look back at these dark days, the violation to human rights, the corruption and the violence incited, and we will remember mostly those who sold their dignity and humanity just for compliance and bribery.

We failed at holding a lot of people accountable on our developer communities, we allowed white nationalists, extremists, and people who like to command but not to listen and learn to take a sit where decisions were made. I am a bit sad that it feels too late of a reaction.
