Trump’s agents have detained innocent American citizens and residents, from children asleep in their homes to an Alderman’s staffers.   All demanding proof of citizenship, without probable cause, with only the victim’s skin color as a reason.   This isn't about crime or safety.

The government may be shut down, but Trump is still managing to get some work done in Washington—like illegally demolishing an entire wing of the White House to build himself a ballroom. Lifting a finger to lower your health care costs? Not so much.

You can use money from the FAFSA for apprenticeships and job training, as well as college. The FAFSA unlocks the WA Grant, which can fully cover costs for many Washington families — not just loans. That's why I tell every high school senior in our state to fill out the FAFSA.

Preventing health care costs from exploding? Reopening the government? Lowering the cost of groceries?   Nope. Building himself a new $300 million ballroom.

I can't believe this is real

Voting still matters. There are elections all over the country in November. Vote, folks. We are all super voters now. We exercise the rights they're trying to steal. That's how we defend them. Massive turnout at the ballot box.

Bribes work for people who are heartless and self-serving individuals working ONLY to fulfill their OWN personal and manipulative GREEDY goals. Needs of others are NOT a factor in their thinking of what is best for our community, our country, or our world - as one we ALL share together in harmony.

Democracy requires decency. Our democracy is devolving because we neglected to demand common decency of the most powerful individual in our country; the President.

ICE is out of control. Pointing a "less-lethal" at the face of an unarmed American at close range turns it into a lethal weapon. These are men who are not qualified, can't control their emotions, are endangering American lives bc they've been handed weapons and are brimming with panic.

Your reminder that "less-lethals" can still be quite lethal and the way ICE is repeatedly using them constitute human rights violations.
