Not to be overly dramatic, but it takes me a few years to get over an album, lmfao. I usually just toss them into an imaginary drawer and try to forget about them. //M E L O D Y_M A N is probably the weirdest one I’ve made so far. It’s pretty odd and full of strange ideas.

I'm making music again, and it feels fantastic. All it took was four pints and half a bottle of Prosecco

I'd like to make more music, but to be honest, I just can't be bothered. I have about six tracks collecting dust. I think having two young children has kind of put the brakes on! Maybe I'll find some energy soon... For now, I’m just enjoying listening...

New project is coming along as well as it can. Chipping away at a piece of rock—starting to look like a strange friend. Hexagons for eyes, a Cheshire Cat smile. Warm like the sun, crunch beats, shimmering guitars. But everything still feels odd, slightly off… not sure if that’s a good thing.

Spending the last of the Christmas holidays watching TOTP reruns, wishing I didn't have to go to work.

I like the low-key, text-based vibe of this platform. I’ve been figuring out social media lately so I’ve decided to drop Instagram and Threads entirely. Twitter feels like a game of death roulette, so I’ve ditched that too. This platform feels cool, so I’ll use it to document my next project.

Eyetrees was a labor of love. I wanted to create something inspired by my family, nature, and infused with a sense of magic. I had so many colours in my mind when making these compositions—oranges, reds, and yellows.

I don't know if or when the new project will be finished—definitely not by 2025. Maybe 2026 or 2027. But I'm really enjoying the creative process. The working title is Holy Smokin' Lizards, 😅.

The new stuff is quite different but sounds like a distorted blend of Nightmare Folk Art, Kullu and Dead Dimension. More drums and bass but same methodology. Feels off, unsettling.

I don’t usually share pictures of my kids, but my son Wilfred looks absolutely beautiful in this one.

So, this is my most-streamed album to date, Nightmare Folk Art. I’m really into folk music, especially bands like The Incredible String Band. I used to be obsessed with The Wicker Man soundtrack and acoustic Marc Bolan.

I created Wizards Castle after working on the Spacelab project. My goal was to make something fun while incorporating some of the more experimental techniques I had developed.

After creating two sparkly, video game soundtrack-inspired albums, Hyperlight and Emerald, I made Bottletown. This time, I wanted to produce something grittier and weirder, with lots of distortion.

I used to imagine myself as a folk star, spending hours crafting songs on my guitar and recording them to tape. Think acoustic Marc Bolan, influenced by Daniel Johnston—singing about sweet souls, apple pie, dirt in your eye—lonely outsider stuff.

I’ve got this idea for a new album: I’m lost in the woods, off my nut, running around, and no one can hear me. It’s like a nightmare, but I meet some proper weird creatures, and they end up becoming my mates, and we make music together.
