Now we will move on to the cards in No Zen's first expansion, #NoZenExpansion. The name might seem trite, but expansion could refer and be associated with the expansion of the mind the monks go through, when through their breathing techniques, they harness the energy within, "expanding within".

I will now go to an explanation of the themes of #NoZen, how they inspired the mechanics, at least for the base game first, for in this game especially, theme and mechanics go hand-in-hand in a very deep way. As you know, the theme of the game is to maintain mental stability when getting angry.

In its infancy stages, it was already visible, the potential of the game #NoZen. Even though there were only 5 Qualities, and 12 copies of each, it was still a fun design, that if my friend had listened to his detractors, he would not have made something this wonderful and brilliant.

The card game of #NoZen was inspired when a toxic individual responded to one of my friend's outbursts, something justified, by saying the words "No Zen". From there, he envisioned a game that involves that theme, what can be called, the idea of maintaining mental stability when getting angry. #card
