I actually had this idea years ago (2022), but it got quickly abandoned and later made more conventional sheets. Despite that, I still really liked the idea and wanted to revisit it at some point.

Starting a new series of reference sheets, this time styled like trading cards ("CHARACARD"). Starting with Eon. Ian Santos AKA "Eon" at first may look like an edgy tough guy, but in actuality Eon is a chill and friendly guy.

Gonna have to hold off of showing this for a little longer, since I've ultimately decided it's better to reveal the project soon (and as I go along) but need a bit more time to polish what I have.

(Designing a layout for a personal project) Hmm... not sure about this layout, maybe I'll tweak it a bit. Actually, I think I have to change that as well. (Ends up redesigning the entire layout) OK, perfect! ... Actually, y'know what?

This is part of a larger project featuring all my characters, so it might take a while. I'm considering holding off showing them until they're all done, but in the meantime I might upload some art from the project.

It sucks that the hellhole that is X/Twitter is still more optimal to post art than the alternatives. From experience, you have the best shot at getting attention, but you're subject to the whims of the algorithm, forced JPEG compression, and bad navigation for older art.

DeviantArt was the first site I uploaded my works to, and I hung onto it even as it was declining and artists left. There's still many talented artists there, but it's now also filled with AI trash and seemingly hasn't been the goto site for artists anymore.

Thinking of it, have there been any video game movie adaptations that are actually good on their own and not "You'd get more mileage if you're a fan or turn your brain off"? The video game movie curse seems very consistent.
