I got the first game in the PlayStation Namco Museum series back when I was 11 years old. Now at age 32, I completed collecting the series with the Japan-exclusive Namco Museum Encore.

I recently added the Japan-exclusive Namco Museum Encore to my collection. Unlike the other five PlayStation Namco Museum games (with covers and discs spelling out “NAMCO”), Encore was never released for retail in the United States.

In order to successfully pitch the maze-scrolling concept of Jr. Pac-Man, GCC crafted a cardboard prototype designed so pulling on the sides would reveal more of the maze displayed in the center.

NEWS: Namco Legendary Mountains has been officially announced for Switch, Switch 2, and PC. This is a 3D chain puzzle game by BeXide with a voxel-style presentation taking after classic Namco games. It will be releasing sometime during the summer.

NEWS: BEEP, a store in Akihabara, Tokyo is relocating due to its building being demolished. The store is known for selling arcade and retro computing hardware, and retro games. The new location will be near the Akihabara train station. The old location closed on May 18.

In 2020, an entity known as "VirtuosityTech" claimed to have acquired the rights to the games produced by Virtuality - including Pac-Man VR - and that ports to modern platforms were coming soon.
