Hammering away at this framework has been incredibly fun so far. I'm finally getting to write some actual clean code and learned a bunch of stuff I never really thought about as well! Implementing animation-based movement and motion warping was quite an interesting challenge, for example. 😅

I'll probably not be able to join the Metroidvania jam because my framework won't be quite ready in time, but that won't stop me from prototyping some fun stuff! Working on a lock-on camera (kinda inspired by Kingdom Hearts 2) and implemented motion warping for root motion animations!

*Personally*, I think it's kinda telling that out of the literal thousands of hours I put into Monster Hunter games as a whole, I spent only 50 in MHWilds. I don't think any other game ever disappointed me this much.

And I'm also aware that a lot of online communities on reddit and such have a very young userbase that makes it kinda difficult to connect. But older trans people exist and they have communities like /r/translater! 💖

I struggled with these thoughts myself, since I always *thought* that I had a good idea where my life will be taking me at that point. Then I read stories of trans people who started transitioning in their 30s, 40s, 50s... and I realized that you're never too old to just be... *you*! 🏳️‍⚧️

Important PSA: if you know you're trans and you feel like you're too old to start therapy - you're not. I figured myself out a few months ago when I turned 38. My endo was talking about one of his patients who transitioned FTM at 60. It's never too late to be happy 💖
