Find it still difficult to get used to the Mac Os Tahoe UI - after several weeks. Strangely enough, the high contrast accessibility feature does help me to cope with this abomination of a design

"Turn it off and on again" is the most powerful tool in IT support. The art of the trade is knowing what should actually be restarted.

Should really invest into promoting [lokito](

Mocking libraries are great. The widespread abuse of them isn't. That's the one of two major reasons the dev testing is often bad nowadays, IMO. Time to revisit a talk idea

Worth stating simply what’s happening. An American government is launching a full-scope political & economic assault on an ally repelling an ongoing invasion to compel them to terminate martial law, topple their president, hand over minerals to America & accept a ceasefire w/out security guarantees.

I was electrocuted, beaten, stabbed in the leg and starved after being captured while defending my home and family in Mariupol. We held back Putin’s invasion for several weeks while Russia slaughtered over 25,000 predominantly Russian speaking Ukrainians including women and children.

I love
@react.dev
, but there are two things that make me real sad. The first, and the biggest, is this nasty push via docs to use complicated frameworks like nest.js, for often much simpler setups would be more than enough. Especially for the beginners. This:

A little piece of uncommon knowledge: a reason the U.S got entangled in the Vietnam War, was that during McCarthyism all the East-Asia experts were purged from the state department. Which gives you an idea of what long-term damage the purging of highly qualified people from government can do.
