Sometimes I’m convinced my bad memory is a defense mechanism to keep me from hating my past mistakes. I wish I could spend my mornings thinking about what I need to do, and not how stupid I can be.

As I sit here, on the evening of my 22nd birthday (i thought i was turning 23 for like two months) I think about one really important thing. I wonder if, to ferrets, spaghetti is them shaped pasta?

I have a strict schedule in the morning. I wake up at 6 and I leave by 7. I have 10 minutes to get out of bed, 20 for breakfast, 10 for shower, 10 for getting dressed. And 10 to get down to my truck. But sometimes I’m too fast and that throws it all off. That’s when I pet ferrets.

My dear husband found me a vintage Eddie Bauer coat and now I am doing the THING and trying to learn as much about them as possible. Anyway, coat history is kinda neet.

I am finishing up one of the trips I’ll always remember. First we did FWA, then drove to Arkansas for a family vacation. They don’t happen very much and we are spread all over the county. Combined ride time for everyone driving is about 1120 hours.

Ok so, River of dreams is MY favorite Billy Joel album. It’s a fun, complex and relaxing time all in one. BUT The Stranger is THE best of Billy Joel. Like come on, LOOK at it. Vienna makes it all by itself. But half the songs on that album could hold an album up by themselves.

FWA was amazing! My first large con, my first time suiting, and my first time seeing many incredible people. Thank you to everyone who made it the amazing time it was. Massive thanks to Mynx also for dragging me out to dance more than ever also.

I just started a new job, and you know what my body decides to do? Get more sick then I have been in years. Luckily I have an absolutely fantastic boss and I have the best partner I could ask for.

Welp, last day over. New job in 5 days. I’ll kinda miss slinging batteries

I’m in the last days at my current job. It’s been fun but I am bored slinging batteries. I have an amazing opportunity lined up and now I’m just counting the minutes until I’m gone.

I’m stuck awake. That normally would be bad to me, but this time it means I re-watched all the how to train your dragon moves. So I could be doing worse.

I went to a work meeting this past weekend that is a bunch of southern boys. And it was amazing to hear them be worried about tariffs since we rely heavily on Chinese products, but at the time not say anything bad about the orange dipshit.

I have to trim the body on my RC truck. I don’t know how exactly I will and I don’t know how it will look but it has to be done.

Yesterday’s crawl went really well. Had a massive turnout of people so that’s always fun. My truck did pretty well but the steering servo is definitely suffering from the extra weight I added.

It’s days like these that I think about how much I hate how my home is destroyed by nut job fanatics. I miss Oklahoma so much and I’d love to get to live a life back home. And while I am fine staying and fighting for my home, not everyone gets to do that.

Well here is my new year’s project for 2025. Got a good few upgrades on my truck and it’s definitely a world of difference.

Went out with my friend and did a bit of trail running with our RC trucks today. Beautiful day for it.

I forgot to say something about this. Got a new TRX4M for Christmas! Lovely little truck, I’m really looking forward to getting into crawling and trail driving with it. I already have some brass on order for it to help with the CG.

Part of what is also sad to me is that this is the first year in my life that Christmas is truly nothing. I have gotten to do nothing that makes me think of this time normally in my life. It’s sad losing something like that so suddenly, yet quietly slipping away.

So today I found out Oklahoma Mesonet posted to Bluesky! If you like weather at all you should follow their page to see all the amazing information you can get. It’s an absolute stunning work of technology and art.

I’m tired of no cold. I hate this warm weather shit. I miss even what we would get in Oklahoma. It was at least SOMETHING.

I had a guy call me and precede to tell me for a minute how I’d have no idea what level of technical knowledge I would need to have to even understand his sound system in a car. He needed me to explain what an Amp hour was. He also was using 6 NON DEEP CYCLE batteries for it.
