SSMLL are very sorry to learn of the death of Dame Jinty Nelson. A brilliant and hugely respected historian of early medieval Europe, Jinty was a generous supporter of medieval scholars and scholarship, serving as a trustee of the Society from 2010-2016. She will be sorely missed.
