We just observed the Return Trajectory Correction Burn 2 of #Artemis II in Doppler tracking. We saw a ~3 Hz jump, corresponding to a line-of-sight velocity change of about 0.4 m/s.

As re-entry is coming up for the Artemis II crew tomorrow, if you are curious what a re-entry looks and sounds like... During Artemis I they recorded the last 25 minutes from entry to splash-down as seen and heard from the inside, pretty cool ! #ArtemisII images.nasa.gov/details/art0...

NASA PAO just updated the expected max. distance from Earth to 405 588 km / 252,021 statute miles, a little less then the previous reported 406 773 km / 252,760 statute miles, however that is still 5 417 km / 3366 statute miles further then Apollo 13 #ArtemisII
