Well....thats an issue.... New Glenn was ready for a static fire, however it blew up on the LC-36 pad. According to Blue Origin, all personnel are safe. Source:

Always loved a good break-down of a song that used samples, in this case, Good Vibrations by Marky Mark & the Funky bunch feat. Loletta Holloway (probably the most sampled voice ever)

Meanwhile New Glenn is good to go according to the FAA Notice the different language however between Blue Origin and the FAA... "off-nominal thermal condition" vs "a cryogenic leak that froze a hydraulic line" Come on guys, stop with the PR speak already...

Meanwhile, more boring stuff, added SMA and LAN as plotting options in my little satinfo app, this is mainly to just have these options available, however for the LAN is mostly to plot the GEO "drifters" aka sneaky inspectors. Also changed the cache to sqlite storage and still bugfixing other items

So, Starship IFT-12: - Pad 2 GSE issue - 1 booster engine out - aborted boost-back burn - booster landing off nominal (speed/location) - ship 1 r-vac engine out - no raptor relight done - TPS "issues" So far it's maybe a big starlink deployer, but full and rapid reuse and Moon ? not so much yet...

I quickly used my tool to have a look and got a closest approach of 4 km ? (big fat caveat on my math which I didnt fully check yet) a cross check would be welcome

Interesting, Stratolaunch is flying for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) using Stratolaunch’s Boeing 747-400 carrier aircraft, Spirit of Mojave, and the Talon-A3 hyper-sonic aircraft. So, and they now use the 747 and they switched from Talon-A2 to A3...

Meanwhile, lawn-dart+corn-silo, erhm Starship, seem to have done a WDR, lets see if they make the 15th. Seeing an increased level of testing (then again, also needed with a new pad and a V3 design) I'm curious to see an improvement this time around, given whats at stake, it is needed....
