I’ve never been good at bedtime. When I was a very small child (before I had siblings) my parents would make the human choo-choo train to bed to get me to go. I was always the caboose. Engine varied. Any visiting adult friends were also expected to join the train.

I find it really offputting when new people casually use nicknames to refer to folks who have only ever introduced themselves as propername, especially when no one else uses nickname to refer to the person. (No, the people in question did not know each other prior.)
