If you like puzzle/escape room games mixed with a bit of mystery and roguelike/lite shenanigans, I would heartily recommend Blue Prince to you. I just had an amazing run, got a lot of synergies going, and man, it was a grand ol' time.

I've been trying to post more art that I've been working on to Instagram, but keep forgetting to cross-post it here. I don't think I'll post ALL of it, bc that's annoying if you follow me on both platforms, but I'm gonna try to remember to post a few here and there.

Also, again, for no reason at all, I've been using Clip Studio Paint and Moho to do some animation lately and they're great. There's a learning curve, of course, but that's true of all animation software.

FYI for no particular reason, but if you're subscribed to a certain art software and want to get out of it without a penalty, just switch to a different type of subscription with them - this will trigger their "trial period" options for the new plan, which will allow you to cancel for free.

Made parathas from scratch tonight! It was a lot of work, as most breads are, but I do enjoy mucking about with food. Paired those suckers with some ready-to-go microwave curries though, bc heck if I'm also making those from scratch on the same night, lol

Only just saw that Drew Struzan has passed away. Such an amazing artist. My favourite of his many posters is one of his lesser known ones, a Return to Oz variant that features one of my fave villains, Princess Mombi. RIP Drew, you were a legend.

Had my nose to the grindstone for the past few weeks getting new art ready for FanExpo next weekend. Thankfully managed to get it all in yesterday. One of the posters took me 2 weeks. The other I banged out in 2 days. 😑 Art is "fun" sometimes

Welp, that's definitely the quickest I've ever hit a funding goal! (1.5 hrs) Mind you, I set the goal super low figuring the tariff situation was going to kneecap the campaign and just wanted to offset the costs a bit vs pay for the whole run entirely. But a win is a win, so I'll take it! :D

Gonna launch my Monster Merchant Pin Kickstarter tomorrow! (PS I did add the bat wings and went with "Lycanthrope" instead of "werewolf")

I'm still tweaking a few of the designs. I might add batwings to the blood droplet on the vampire design, for instance. Oh, and I am waffling something fierce on putting "lycanthrope rescue society" or "werewolf rescue society" on the werewolf pin. (seriously, if you have feedback, I'm all ears)

Oh, ha! I should probably say what the pins actually are, eh? This set is The Beastly Bureau of Monster Merchants! It's a companion campaign to my Cryptid Club set, but this time around it's based on these monsters running small businesses and scam charities.

So I think I AM going to launch my pin kickstarter in the coming week, but at a much reduced goal bc I imagine I will get far fewer US backers than usual. Not ideal, of course, but if I can just offset the costs a wee bit, that'd be fabulous.
