I must say, DnD 2024 fixes a LOT of the problems I had with fifth. Creating a character feels a lot better, and more interesting. 5e still isn't my game though, I just don't love how the combat works. But a lot of my gripes with the 2014 rules pre-session were fixed by 24. So there's that.
