Another Dem win in Wisconsin: In traditionally red WOOD COUNTY, voters reelected a county judge who was appointed by Democratic Governor Tony Evers. Emily Nolan-Plutchak, the winner, is a longtime public defender. She defeated a Republican DA.

Wisconsin Democrats have the best state party in the country and the work they’ve put in over the past decade has been nothing short of inspiring.

The one bright spot in my personal misery today was that my uncle stopped by on his way home to Chicago to bring me leftovers from Easter since I couldn’t make it home. It was very sweet and made me a little homesick but that’s probably because of the aforementioned misery.
