I became an aunt 4 years ago today 🥹 my little nieces are the best and I love being an aunt more than anything. I had been a nanny for 13 years before becoming an aunt so I had the role down, but getting to be aunt/nanny is even better bc I get holidays with them too 🥰

went to support one of my old nanny kids at her musical today and had such a great time catching up with families I love with their kids all grown up and came home and looked online and saw a new war. god the horrors never end. we all deserve so much better.

I printed out a couple flyers & know your rights cards in spanish & gave them to our cleaning ladies & told them they’re for anyone who might need them. I hope they help. I’m going to try to brainstorm more things I can do like this since knowing rights is making a difference.

my dad is spending the first half of father’s day helping my sister pack her moving truck and the second half of the day at my 3 yr old niece’s 1.5 hour dance recital where she’s in a dance for 2 minutes 😂 he’s a real one

my baby niece is just shy of 11 months and she’s starting to walk 🥹 she’s up to 10 steps at a time! my earliest nanny kid walkers were 8.5 months and 10 months but she’s in 3rd place!
