My heart is broken again. I have 5 grown daughters and 6 amazing grands. While on a wonderful wedding dress search this weekend for #4 I was treated very disrespectfully and heard “Mom!” like I am stupid whenever I voiced my opinion. It’s my fault. I spoiled and protected them from real life.

I thought I was alone in not feeling particularly celebratory for July 4. Now appears I am one of many. Going to stay home with my dog, read, work on the blanket I am crocheting for my granddaughter, and hope to wake up July 5 and realize this has been one long damn nightmare.
