I’ve enjoyed Metroid Prime 4 well enough but I have story complaints. The prologue ends with Samus and her surroundings being teleported across the galaxy. However, the only teleported materials and characters we see are from the galactic federation except for Sylux and implicitly some metroids.

One of my pet peeves: devices that don’t put all the relevant status lights on one side. I’m looking at you, home router with power and port lights on one side and broadband status light on the other. Making me turn you 180 degrees and twisting all my cabling up to check everything.

While the events earlier this week sucked, the weekend trip to Palm Springs and seeing old friends has been a good distraction.
