Two Crows in an Elevator Just got the 2021 game Death's Door today, and after playing a bit, I couldn't help but draw something related. Here we've got the Fledgling and Grey Crow, two little guys who reap souls. Grim business... but the game itself is kinda cute. 🪶

I know this sounds crazy, but... birds are very different from lizards. 🦅 I was not prepared when trying to sketch one out.

Playing the new "Isopod" game tonight. It's cute, fun to play, and a good vibe. #isopodgame If bugs give you the ick, this game would be excellent exposure therapy. (There's even a Wizard Spider, with a hat and everything!) I felt like making a doodle. This time with all-new color technology!

Every time I've done a little doodle the past few days it gives me a rush I haven't felt for a long time... They're incredibly simple and amateur but I understand I have to start somewhere. I just hope nobody's finding them annoying. I know they could be seen as unsightly.

There are only three things I enjoy about Final Fantasy 14: - One character can progress with all jobs. - Jobs feel unique and dynamic once in their 30s - Craft/gather job mechanics are engaging. Other than that, too many things keep me from enjoying it.

With all the Pokemon ZA hype, I went ahead and tried the demo for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. I was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was. When the demo ended I was bummed out! Ultimately, I’ve my hands full with other creature collectors rn, but maybe in the future I’ll buy the game for real.

I think a good question to ask is: why have a virtual intelligence? Something like true AI in science fiction? What could come from interfacing with a digital consciousness? What could we, or it, glean from each other? How would it be any different than interacting with a human, or like, a dog?

When thinking about large language models, it’s important to keep in mind how much of misnomer it is. It is neither intelligent, nor arguably artificial. We are so far from virtual consciousness that it is insulting and scammy how “AI” is used to describe LLMs.

We need the aerial combos back for Insect Glaive in #MHWilds. The cost of the dynamic and fun part of the weapon’s identity was gathering extracts, just like the cost of the fun combos for Charge Blade is gathering phials. Why even choose IG over any other weapon now?
