If you are wondering about the smell in #Kamloops right now, the pulp mill shut down at 6:21 this morning because of a power outage. Gases that are normally incinerated were vented (thus the smell) but Kruger Pulp says air monitoring shows the levels are within acceptable limits.

The City and KFR are aware of the growing concern about the odour this morning and can confirm that it is coming from the Kruger Pulp Mill. We are actively working with Kruger to get more updates. #Kamloops #KamloopsNotice
