Family dog of 18 years is being put to sleep today. I knew it was coming very soon, just didnt think it’d be today. I can’t call out of work because we’re understaffed and nobody can cover for me (my manager could but she doesn’t like working the floor of course.) So yeah. Just a shit day.

btw just as a reminder as we get into the hotter months, some ssri's can make you heat intolerant, be sure to invest in ice packs, neck fans, take a lot of breaks, drink a LOT of water, you will become dehydrated and not even realize it sometimes!

One of those “hell on wheels” days. I hate how PTO works with certain departments. It’s hard to get PTO in mine, and the higher ups require us to leave early if we’re finished before 8 hours. Right. But they take the PTO out. If you do leave early. 1/
