that to me is pretty shameful. judges are released a lot of people from detention, which is good, but this also means they shouldn't have been arrested. and then they are in whatever texas? it's not like the usa helps them get home. nvm children in jail, seriously?

i have talked to a number of sheriffs (on background) who have people in their jail, arrested by ICE or CBP, and transferred there. After they have a hearing before a judge, they are released but have no phone, no money, no way to get home. Organizers are helping to organize tickets and car rides.

So...nothing on a reduction in funding, nothing on reducing detention, nothing on, idk, firing people?
