Vestra is... not an ideal pet owner. She enjoys having monstrous wildlife "tamed" to keep as a part of her crew’s arsenal, but personally, she's as given to help or mistreat wildlife as she is any other person. Thinks the sight of a behemoth rampaging on black root is hilarious.

Sold to a pirate gang at a young age, Vestra earned her freedom after impressing her captors with her skills with an axe during a failed revolt, securing a position in the crew as a marauder in exchange for executing the revolt's leader. The bloodthirst built up from years of abuse served her well.

Unironically, I absolutely LOVE characters who are petulant and egotistical but have the brains to back it up. The sheer amount of incredible, world-altering achievements he's managed in canon, out of SPITE, makes him one of the most endearing characters in the game to me.
