Sleep is a spell you learn pretty quickly as a white mage (lvl8). I imagine most people with magical family know how to cast it, but it's seen as "bad form" or "awful parenting" to cast sleep on your kids at night. But if a person is unwell or drunk, gridanians can cast sleep to help it pass.

I had a music teacher, who unfortunately died of cancer about ten years ago. She played wow, and taught english and reading to primary school kids. And argued with parents that kids who played pokemon were the best at reading. I think of her when I imagine Rene teaching. Her name was Anne Harrow.

Oh he's had so many parental figures it'd be so hard. But I think in the end he'd choose his sister, mostly because he barely got to know her, and she had a whole life ahead of her.

As is! No milk or sugar. He was raised on chai. He's learning to enjoy coffee, so that's where the milk goes, not in tea.

I needed to convince myself to level my last doh/dol class, culinarian, so I told myself that Rene was learning how to cook from scratch, and that became a major part of his character.

Pessimism and nihility. They are integral to who he is, and he requires people around him to have hope in order for him to function. (I think every major event I have in my head, requires me to invent an npc to drag him out of a rutt lmao) And then he was extremely gullible, and has worked on that.

I think it depends on the cause. He will be very low risk, and avoid all conflict if he can, but paradoxically he doesn't value his life all that much, so it it's for a cause he's ready to die for, he will take that risk.
