What a morning! We welcomed 74 runners and walkers to Louisville’s favorite free weekly 5K. 14 first-timers joined the fun including tourists from 🇩🇪 , the 🇬🇧 and 🇨🇦 . So many speedy runners came out too. We had 31 runners finish sub 30:00 and 12 under 23:00! Well done!

We closed out August by welcoming 49 runners & walkers plus a few excellent barkrunners to Joe Creason on Saturday. We had several first-timers including Alex who ran our entire course in a suit after losing a fantasy football bet. He did great!

On Saturday the inaugural Brooklyn Bridge parkrun happened and 538 runners and walkers crossed the finish. This was the 2nd highest attendance ever at an American parkrun. 141 people had their barcodes scanned for the very first time. Exciting times for parkrun in the US!
