For this week’s floofy #showmeyourknits : a slow burn scarf project I work on when I don’t have anything else on the needles. Miss Babs Moonglow mohair/silk blend. Plus the sweater with the Moonglow held with the Miss Babs K2 (chunky merino) Who knew I was so floofy.

Really excited to finally use this lettlopi I bought at the Hespa workshop outside Reykjavik last April. I loooooooove the rustic feel of it and adore the hand dyed colors. Sadly, we have a moth situation elsewhere in the house so freezing it for a few days before I can cast on. #knitsky

Another #showmeyourknits horror story: my one and only felt project. The bag was a lot smaller than it should have been and it lost the rich color. Plus the felting itself was wonky. I feel like felting has the potential to waste a lot of yarn so I never tried it again.

Almost done with the upper back of this sweater. I can’t decide if I like how the lace yarn is turning out - kinda looks like random dark thread woven around the stitches. Lot less noticeable in the bits if stockinette. The yarn is a mossier green than my iPhone camera produces.

I spotted my hoodie in one of the photos :) As massive as the turnout was in DC, there were tons of these smaller events all around the DMV. Ppl were coming and going constantly so difficult to say how large this crowd really was.
