On my 12th carnival season I decided to, without shame, turn away from the parades I just walked down to, return home, make an egg sandwich at 9pm with homemade bread, and proceeded to sleep until 10am this morning. I have reached a new level of Mardi Gras’ing 😅

I’ve been dealing with back to back flares since November, so if I’ve been erratic please forgive me. I do my best to pace myself and tend to my body’s needs, but so often it feels like pushing a freight train up a mountain. I can’t seem to catch up. Pain persistently pushes me behind. 😭
