Initially I told myself I wanted the tabard to *feel* royal, use quality materials and textures- and I think that was like shooting myself in the foot because any time I started thinking about working on it I tripped up with "What if it's not good enough?" I realized I just had to start somewhere.

Every few seasons I will obsessively download images of this costume from Yuna's forced wedding in FFX, as if I'm finally going to take her off my Wishlist. Alas I have already too many large projects on the go and so very very little energy. I shall pay to the Fayth one more season.

Second ASL class: we learned about VRS Canada and other accomodation services. Our teacher talked about the struggles she herself faced during the BC fires due to lack of interpretation/closed captioning. Honestly even as a hearing person, captioning should be everywhere, it's plain helpful.

I was discussing a cos with a non-cosplayer, they assumed I was postponing a particular aspirational build due to lack of skill- but not having a particular skill has never stopped me before; imo in cosplay you learn to do by doing.

Velcro and snap hooks are going to keep Keyleth's thigh-high boot cuffs securely in place. These boots are locked in, no sagging boots in my future!

Today I accidentally unscrewed the whole lid, as opposed to just the cap, of my bottle of crazy glue. Misfortune almost struck in that moments but my brain said "no spill, just catch" And SOMEHOW I managed to avoid spilling any on my project! My hand however is now incredibly.... crusty.
