Their methods of getting people to care can be forgiven when the whole world has turned their backs on them and their people getting slaughtered. In fact, I think many of you would do the same things if you were in the middle of surviving genocide, before you start thinking that you're above that.

Also quit putting the blame of your guilt on Palestinians when they come into your DMs or mentions and ask for donations. Not only are you not the only person they're asking, but I think you should put yourself in their shoes and understand the desperation they're experiencing right now.

It really is so easy to just say nothing if you don't want to share fundraiser posts. Nobody is forcing you to self-report about how guilty it makes you feel or how you don't think anybody living through genocide would be on social media. Never underestimate the power and advantages to shutting up.

Nobody is ever obligated to use their social media platform as their main (or only) method of action towards a better world. But I will see you as nothing but undeniably racist if you proclaim that every Palestinian asking for donations on this platform is a scammer. Even more so if you report them.
