2023 SKETCHBOOK 12 - LONDON The last month of the year was maybe the most uneventful, by this point, drawing in my sketchbook every day was just so second nature that it flew by. An anticlimactic end to the project - but I think the drawings in this month were some of my best!

2023 SKETCHBOOK 10 - LONDON In October I decided to start reading through Walt Stanchfield’s Drawn To Life. I’d started it many times over the years - but always found that reading it as I would any other book would often leave me overwhelmed with wisdom. So I decided to take it at a slower pace.

2023 SKETCHBOOK 09 - LONDON Staying in one place during September allowed me to really hyperfocus on gesture/cafe drawing. Outside of my 6-day-work-week I was spending almost every evening and lunchtime in my sketchbook, and the results started to show up.
