Needs repeating that #PressYourLuck is the best new game show on American TV in the past 20 years and Elizabeth Banks is an amazing host who deserves the Emmy for this more than anyone else.

I do want to note that while I criticize I don’t think Millionaire and Match Game are bad shows. They’re totally fine. I just was hoping for a little bit more? Especially from Millionaire. Match Game I got what I expected. Millionaire I always hope for a larger effort.

The new Match Game also looks really cheap and weird? Like the set and production looks bargain basement. Also the show feels like it's filmed weird, almost like it's in PAL. My joke of "This feels like a GSN version of Match Game instead of an ABC version" was pretty spot on.

Sorry, not feeling this new Match Game. Martin Short is a better host than Alec Baldwin. The show in general feels worse than the last ABC attempt. This isn't doing it for me.

I’m personally a bit Match Game’d out and I think I’d have preferred to see To Tell The Truth back first? That recent ABC version was a constant delight and insanely fun. Probably more expensive to do though.

Saying this as respectfully as I can but just in terms of looks, the new Match Game looks like a pre-fake-set GSN version of ABC’s version of Match Game. It’s very noticeably cheaper which was clearly the point of bringing the show back.
