Heavenbound on C64, a vertical climber platformer from 1994. Just one stage, make it to the top. Item drops are semi random, seems like a few seeds, so I go for a specific one. Enemies do huge damage, so need to be careful. Feels kinda like a modern indie game. 🐘 www.youtube.com/watch?v=FI0N...

Spacehawk on GBC, new short metroid clone. Need to collect ship parts to repair yours but they only appear after the final boss during the escape sequence. So all you do is grab the weapon upgrade and head over there. I grab double jump as well to get over a wall. 🔫 www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wzm...

PSA: Bluesky's new auto-tagging moderation stuff is a disaster. Disable it. Go into Settings on the Bluesky site and enable adult content and set everything to Warn at most, which makes posts opt-in. Hide just vanishes posts. Then go into Advanced/Bluesky Mod Service and do the same on everything.

A Magical Tale: Revoke DX on GBC. An adventure puzzle game with some platforming at the end of the levels. Very easy game, you can complete the levels in any order after the start. Unskippable cutscenes in this make it a bit long on top of walking to each area. 🔷 www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WM0...

Jungle no Ouja Tar-chan on Game Boy. Based on the manga/anime, a platformer with an overworld where you travel to the stages with animals that give abilities you can rescue but they're out of the way. Mr Heli on PC Engine, unique shmup. You control the scrolling most the time and go around collecting crystals to buy upgrades. I refuse to go to Win11, but this bullshit is in Windows 10 too, I disabled it immediately, luckily someone clued me in a while back when it first rolled out. Settings > devices > typing > typing insights to disable it. Happy to have my stats sit at 0. They keep saying it's inevitable, but hiding it
