I beat Wolfenstein: The New Order yesterday, and started playing Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. What a series! I can’t believe I slept on these. Gunplay is absolutely amazing, story is great, level design is absolutely killer. Loads of fun, and a perfect outlet for aggression and frustration.

The computer science course I'm taking this semester is a lot of fun, but the most recent stuff is super challenging. It's all Java-based, which I'm actually doing okay with, but refactoring code to incorporate new concepts is super hard. Also, implementing Linked Lists from scratch suuuuuucks.

Where's a good place to go to find all the cool stuff being built by Bluesky / ATproto devs? I want to start covering this stuff more closely. Maybe @bmann.ca can steer me in the right direction?

Just watched Coraline for the very first time. I’m blown away. The stop-motion animation is incredible, the horror aspects of the story are fucked up, the They Might Be Giants song was icing on the cake. Great story, fantastic direction, some absolutely inspired artistic decisions.

Trying to jerry-rig WordPress to do proper microblogging for Fediverse integration, and I want to cry. The backend is incredibly janky, is basically like 3 plugins in a trenchcoat, and just feels like a bad time. Highly considering a switch to Ghost, but that too will be painful.

It feels deeply weird to do a Google search for how to deal with a specific PeerTube issue, only for Gemini to spit back tips from the in-depth article I wrote right back at me.
