The Young Writer of the Year competition, held at the CBS Arena, is one of our highlights of the year where we get to celebrate the amazing stories picked from hundreds of children who have applied from across the city! #WorldBookDay

Bought the boys a couple of iPod Shuffles and helped them to load them up with their own choice of music. Streaming makes music feel so much more disposable now compared to 10+ years ago.

The York Ghost Merchants were the inspiration behind my Stone Godiva statues so it was cool to visit them in person and grab some for ourselves!

Tuesday Night Lights #pusb

Decided to smarten up my old iPod Video with a replacement front and back case, and battery! Not sure if it’s a bad idea but it looks simple enough to do judging by YouTube videos.

This morning I had the pleasure of talking to the city’s headteachers where I formally launched ‘Lady Godiva’s Birthday Suit: The Musical’. It was great to hear direct how useful my books have been to Coventry schools and provided a resource to help them promote our city!

That was quality - genuinely think the fans collecting behind the goal made a difference to them missing their pens, especially the one that was blazed over! #pusb

The last of boys’ Christmas Lego took ages to complete - I don’t want to see Sky Blue Sam for a good while! #PUSB

Proper enjoyable game today. EMC looks full of confidence. Thought Torp and Rudoni were great. Still need more from Sheaf, was missing for large spells of the game. Hull were pretty poor but a win nonetheless! #PUSB

Going to watch The Book of Mormon in Brum tonight - a show I’ve wanted to see for years! Anyone seen it?

Today we ran Coventry Park Run and was great to see the War Memorial Cenotaph which inspires the last badge released as part of the #covpinclub. It was a really tricky monument to capture in badge form but always think it came out great!

Christmas tree is up! Normally am strict about it being in December but a great night for it to go up and the boys are buzzing! Every decoration on there means something to us. 🎄
