My top books of 2025! I spent a portion of the year struggling to read, but the incredible books I chose made up for that. All of my top picks ended up being audiobooks read by fantastic narrators. All of these books also made me cry for different reasons - what more can you ask from a top five?

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, I would have you remember that there are trans people alive who need your action now, not your reflective words later. Remembering us is not enough.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, and it’s been an extremely painful seven months without Lucy. I do what I can to keep her memory and her dreams alive, to bring justice to her and to the trans community (especially Black trans women), and to fight the systems that continuously harm us.

Thank you to everyone who came to the Queer Minds launch event at Ib Books! It was so fulfilling to speak to you all in such a lovely and important space. I loved visiting 1b and I hope I’ll be back soon!

Queer Minds is a book of interviews with LGBTQ+ experts of all kinds to speaking in their own words. When I set out to create the book, my goal wasn’t to write just another book about queer people - it was to curate a book that included as many of us I could.
