Trump is yet again trying to bully Britain into joining his illegal war in Iran. What more will it take for Starmer to cancel the King's state visit to the US? We shouldn't reward someone who is pushing up people's energy bills and repeatedly insulting our country.

It has been estimated that leaving the EU has reduced UK GDP by 6-8%, and even the Deputy Prime Minister himself has suggested that rejoining the customs union could increase economic growth: it is clear that the answer to economic recovery is joining the single market and customs union.

Trump pardons allies who boost his crypto coin. Trump invests in corporations that he's supposed to be regulating. Trump cuts deals with autocrats to advance his family's real estate business. The list goes on. We must not become numb to this blatant corruption.

Strip away Farage's insults and outrage and there's nothing there but a desperation to turn the UK into his version of Trump's America. We will talk Britain up, not down, because we know how special our country can be.

This is very concerning.

Starmer needs to get on the phone to Trump and ask him to set out a plan to protect civilians and support a democratic transition in Iran. We've seen before that bombs don't bring about democracy and regime change without a plan just leads to more chaos and suffering.
