The biggest weakness most fighting game players have is doing things without purpose. Not understanding why they should press a button. Lot of them want to do something just to do it, compared to doing something because “it will beat these options and I think the opponent will do this.”

one of the biggest thing i think gets people killed whenever they play fighting games is just doing way too much for no good reason, chill while you can do things to create visual noise for the opponent, you cant overload yourself in the process as well, its okay to create downtime for yourself

the biggest thing people understate or forget about getting better at anything is how much it becomes less about skill improvement and more about skill retention as you level up, as objectively significant progress means youre very likely still not at a high level

weird property with gaira 66C, maybe some other 66Cs work the same way, but there appears to be some directional influence you can do hold away from gaira, stay in the corner, hold towards gaira (or stay in neutral), get pushed out of the corner
