While GW and SMC share a lot of similarities in our general approach to politics, (building unions, running candidates, vying for state power), a deeper dive shows that there are quite stark difference in our approaches.

I find the "treaterlites" discourse to be pretty awful. Assuming that Americans are basically fascist unless they economy tanks is a narrow and unscientific view of our political situation. People can be motivated by other things than their basest materialist interests.

I do think the left should talk about families more, but from the lens of "anyone at any age should be able to have and support a family if they want." Not getting into weird natalism shit.
