It is a well know thing that macOS doesn’t play the nicest with monitors that don’t match the “retina” numbers. My monitor is such one of those monitors. While generally it has been mostly fine in the past, with macOS 26, my text is a fuzzy pain in the eyes. #macos26 #apple

More Linux: I do seem to have worst luck with Fedora and its derivative distros. Debian ones tend to be better, especially Ubuntu. I guess I could try a switch up to a Debian based distro. The question is as Bazzite is Atomic, is it just atomic issues? Who knows!

I really want Linux to work out for my on my desktop. While it works most the time, there are more often than I would like days where a series of things go wrong and it makes me question my choices in life.

Update on computer: Not sure why it is working but it is. I have a theory on what caused the issue which means I can test it. New issue though. When I reset the BOIS it wiped the keys windows was using. So windows is complaining.

All. I am going fucking MAD. I built myself a gaming PC (not my first time by a long shot) and it works u til it doesn’t. At some point during a boot it decides there is not VGA and just won’t boot. It is such a struggle to get it back up and running. Once I do, it is fine.
