Not just turtles though haha- I draw everything, and have been for over 25 years. When I’m not drawing for work, I’m drawing for me. It’s basically all that I do. It’s often the cause of my melancholies, and my only ladder out of the pit. It’s the poison and the cure, the illness and the medicine.

This one just dropped this week! my #TMNT #Naruto exclusive for MrEcletables.com! Two actually! The original art is shown too, colour duties were handled by my pal Danny Harrell.

This is another favourite MrEcletables.com TMNT exclusive- my wraparound foil cover for the epic #TMNT40thAnniversary! My pal Danny Harrell coloured this one for me, and he did a killer job. The foil covers are so shiny! It was tricky to paint remarks on that surface, but I managed some fun ones.

Leonardo is featured in TMNT #3, and this wraparound exclusive I did for MrEclectables.com features him battling with the demons of his past, while contemplating his place in the future. The original art shown here is HUGE, and currently available for sale at my shop mikerooth.bigcartel.com

These MrEcltables.com exclusives for TMNT #2 were kind oh ambitious, but worth the effort. The story features Michelangelo in his new life in Japan as a major pop star. But old enemies find him there… I’ve also shown the original inked art here.

I was also lucky to draw some exclusive covers for the TMNT series relaunch at IDW this year. I did covers for issues 1-4 for MrEclectables.com. Here’s a few for #1 which feature Raphael. We started a little gimmick with these wraparound covers where the back cover is actually a sequential page.

I wanted to try and capture the vivid colors/energy of the old #MastersOfTheUniverse mini comics that came with the toys in the 80’s, specifically the work of Alfredo Alcala, who was very inspirational to me as a young artist. These covers are fun, and painting little remarks on them is a blast.

I guess I should post something here, eh? (Since my last post was 11 months ago haha.) I’ve been really busy this year, drawing a whole bunch of covers for different comics and TMNT projects, many for MrEclectables.com. My favourites are the 4 #TurtlesOfGrayskull connecting covers. Here’s 1&2!
