Yesterday marked the anniversary of Rosa Luxemburg’s execution. She was killed because she insisted on seeing history as it was unfolding, not as people wished it to be. 🧵

A 22 y/o organizer + teacher was arrested on camera during an interview after speaking at a Mich. protest over Maduro's abduction Jessica Plichta says her arrest seems tied to her recent trip to Venezuela as part of an internationalist peace delegation amid Trump's blockade

That’s what I’m talking about. No, Boris. You are not privileged or rich enough to bomb any country. You don’t command power, you don’t profit from it. You’re just a disposable subject identifying with violence that serves capital, not you.

Maduro's not a good guy, agreed. But neither is Putin, and Trump rolled out the red fucking carpet for him. It's not about dope, it's about oil (which kinda IS dope). Just when you think Trump has hit the gutter, he bounces lower.

You don’t have to love the USSR to see it was a check on exploitation. Capitalism’s Golden Age (1947-73) was a strategic necessity. Fearing decolonization and socialism, the elite gave workers a seat to prevent revolution. Once those threats faded, the exploitation returned.

The "we" the state uses is a scam. They sell you national pride while siphoning your taxes into the military industrial complex. "National interest" is just a code word for oligarchic profit. Stop identifying with the machine; the only real "we" is the working class.

Teuta Hoxha has been on hunger strike since November 9 while held on remand without trial. The protest is part of a wider hunger strike by Palestine Action detainees in the UK, drawing scrutiny over pre trial detention and prison conditions.

If democracy, in essence, means the abolition of class domination, then why should not a socialist minister charm the whole bourgeois world by orations on class collaboration?

Across different countries, the “alternatives” presented to us tend to preserve the same underlying system. What’s framed as political competition is often a way of displacing attention from the deeper class conflict beneath it.

Handing power to those involved in the destruction, while stripping away legal resistance, is presented as “peace.” For Palestinians, it means being governed by the same forces that devastated their lives.

This chart shows the top 1%’s income share in Russia, Poland, Czechia, and Hungary (1905–2015). It drops sharply under socialism after WWII, stays low for decades, then rises fast after the return to capitalism in the 1990s. Same societies, different systems. Inequality is structural.

Spiritual narratives often speak of “patterns in history” and explain them through cosmic cycles. Repetition itself isn’t the issue. The question is where that repetition comes from. The sense of recurrence emerges from material conditions repeating themselves.

An award winning MIT fusion scientist working toward virtually limitless, clean energy with no carbon emissions or radioactive waste is dead. His research threatened the entire energy industry. He is not the first. In 2004, MIT fusion researcher Eugene Mallove was also murdered.
