I don't use AI in my writing, and never will. When you use AI to generate your novel, you are robbing yourself the joy of discovering a new world. Every eureka moment uncovered in the shower, every gut-punch realization, all of it gone in favor of quick, lifeless prose.

For writers with multiple WIPs- do your main characters share any commonalities or themes? Or are they all distinct? I'm realizing that many of my main characters are motivated by a betrayal from their past. 👀

Finding the right name for a character can be a delicate process. For me, a character's name needs to match the colors and vibes I associate them with. Each letter adds to the color palette; a swapped vowel can completely change the hue. But that's synesthesia for you.

With my first book, I jumped in without an outline. I wrote and rewrote for years, and the plot still didn't come together. So, I put it to the side. With my second book I outlined my plot before I started writing, and it came together as if born to it. Looks like I'm a plotter! ✒️ #WriteSky
