When it comes to weapons in games: I much prefer a limited of select weapons per each type that have different properties such as power, speed, range and moveset, rather than bloating the game with like 100s of weapons you just replace... Unless the game is specifically designed for it like BL

Tldr lots of sterling's criticisms of games tend to be kind of anodyne gripes and just borne out of frustration that she doesnt mesh with every game on the planet but lots of ppl get riled up regardless.

It's annoying to us as fans trying to convince people, but they're rightfully distrusting of MTX practices. It was a serious blow to the game's rep by the team's own management, they created that horrible environment for the game.

Yeah that's my point. They carelessly inject MTX into all their titles- while it's pretty easy to ignore in the case of something like DMC or Resident Evil, the optics of selling fast travel tokens is awful to DD newcomers.

Pretty much everything is easily available in game. With the exception of some items that I can see some people might wanting to buy, you have no reason to ever buy any of it. I’d prefer if it wasn’t there at all. But it’s not that big of an issue for dd2 specifically when capcom does it all time.

I see capcoms mtx get brought up occasionally with new releases, but I’ve never seen people as outraged as dd2. The false information was rampant. I had people telling me you had to pay real money every time you fast travel. I’d argue it’s one of capcoms least intrusive mtx.

The feedback in question btw. Keep in mind, some of this just wasn't true lmao. You do not "need to pay $2 every time you want to edit your character". People complaining about traveling in the travel game is also bonkers to me. It's like friction is the enemy in the modern Capcom era.
