The more I think about it a 3yr extension for Moyes is nuts he should have pressure on him from game 1 next season. Stabilise and extinguish relegation threat done and accepted - now it’s Europe the aim for next season and don’t throw away the cups either

I’m ok with Moyes but not long term believe he can stabilise us and in fairness he has done. But he will only take you so far, the natural parting of ways was end of next season so a 3yr extension is insane and unnecessary where was he going to go?

This game is like our whole season in microcosm. We have quality, but also obvious gaps. And we have moments where we play well, but also, we switch off far too many times. Maybe this is showing why we aren't quite good enough to get European places yet. But we are still miles than we were.
