New art for the CotC8! They haven't forgotten! This art is for the CN version's 2nd anniversary, and I hope they'll keep on giving us more art of these wonderful characters. They deserve it!

I've made a start on this Celsus/Pius fic of mine, and I'm hoping to carry on with it this evening. With any luck, I can finish the first chapter today! I have no idea when I'll be posting it yet, as I want to have at least 2 or 3 more chapters written before I do, but progress has been made!

560 words written today - that's not too bad at all, considering I wasn't planning on writing tonight. That's my daily word goal reached, so I'm happy. 🙂

Spending a quiet Bank Holiday Monday by finally finishing off the chapter planning for this Celsus/Pius longfic. I think I'm finally done! 18 chapters and an epilogue, and the plan is to write lots of extras for these, too. 🥰

I need to take a mental health break from the news, I think.

I've written nearly 6000 words of chapter notes for this new fic... That's a decent sized fic's worth of notes. Clearly I hadn't realised how much I'd written. And I've not even finished yet! Still a few more chapters to plan out, and then maybe some extras.

We have an *extremely* important announcement to make. From Wednesday, we will be launching our puffin live cam, coming to you from the Farne Islands. So you can watch puffins all day long. In celebration, please enjoy this clip of puffins being really busy for 39 seconds straight.

This weekend I've been mostly plotting out this Modern AU Celsus/Pius fic, and somehow I've got more chapters than I'd planned, and more angst than I'd planned, too. I need to put some more fluff in this to balance it out! I'm still not up to the big emotional scene™, either!

I'm going back to writing Octopath 0 now, but I'll be making notes of any Suikoden thoughts, too. It's been really good to write like this for such an old fandom. 🙂 Besides, with the anime coming out soon, there might be new readers coming in - and new writers too. It's all fun!

Now, though, I feel like a change from Octopath, so I'm switching my attention to Suikoden for a bit. I've been missing my favourite mercs, so I'm getting back to continuing their story. I stopped just before the interesting shippy stuff started, so that'll be fun to pick back up again... 🙂

Lynette EX is on one of the banners, and she's a favourite of mine - one of my main pairings. What to do... I really should write her and Sofia in another fic soon. I might try to get her EX form in game so she and Sofia EX can be together, too. We'll see what happens, I guess.

All right, then. I know how I'm going to work the new Celsus/Pius WIP. I want to be able to add more chapters to it as I think of them, so it's just going to be a collection of short stories in one fic, all loosely following the game's timeline.

Today's been a good day for writing. I managed 1577 words in total - an entire chapter of a brand new Celsus/Pius fic. That's the second chapter I've written for it, but there's a few things I need to figure out before I start posting. Hopefully it won't be long before I have another fic up!

Our team received a report of intermittent app outages at about 11:40pm PDT on April 15, 2026. They worked through the night to mitigate a sophisticated Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack, which intensified throughout the day.
